Meet Robyn Lee Seale, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Lead at Nova Scotia Lands. Robyn Lee is working hard to ensure the CBRM Health Care Redevelopment Project is about more than buildings.

The goal of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (EDI) program is to work with underrepresented communities to ensure they are involved and benefiting from these large-scale construction projects. Robyn Lee dedicates her time to working with community partners and the construction industry to make worksites more inclusive and reflective of Cape Breton’s vibrant community, by focusing on policy and workplace culture.

It was a chilly day yesterday on the site of the f It was a chilly day yesterday on the site of the future Northside Health Complex where representatives from the Cape Breton Island and Construction Trades Council, the Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation, the CBRM Health Care Redevelopment Project, and Nova Scotia Health’s Eastern Zone unveiled a generous donation from the Cape Breton Building Trades and their Unionized Contractors of $100,000! This donation will support brand new ultrasonic equipment and new geriatric beds. What a great day for healthcare! 🏥
Construction work is underway at the Cape Breton R Construction work is underway at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and you’re invited to join the Cape Breton Partnership for a community information session on Thursday, November 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Port of Sydney! 🚧
 
This is your chance to ask questions and hear from the organizations and representatives working on the major expansion of the Regional Hospital, including the new Cape Breton Cancer Centre.
