The multi-million-dollar Cape Breton Regional Hospital expansion has made the annual Top100 Projects report published by ReNew Canada Magazine.
The annual report from the magazine referred to as the voice of public sector infrastructure features the 100 largest public sector infrastructure projects currently under development in the country.
At No. 80 on this year’s list is the Cape Breton hospital expansion valued at $700 million.
The project owner is Nova Scotia Public Works. Pomerleau Lindsay Health Care Partners is the construction manager.
Site preparation began in 2020 and the project is expected to be complete by 2028.
