Starting Wednesday, Nov. 1, masonry work will begin at Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney. This work is being done as part of a project to replace masonry that is original to the hospital. The work is expected to take 10 months to complete.
During the work, people will still be able to access the building, however they are asked to use caution as work will take place in various locations on the building’s exterior. They are also asked to follow any signage and/or barriers that are in place in areas where the work is occurring.
