SYDNEY, N.S. — The provincial and federal governments banded together Wednesday to announce more than $5.7 million to repair the roof and floors of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
With the hospital in the background, Sydney-Victoria MP Jaime Battiste announced on behalf of Catherine McKenna, federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, the federal government’s investment of more than $4.5 million into the two projects, which will come from the COVID-19 Resilience Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
